Accessibility Statement

Accessibility Statement

Last updated: July 27, 2026

Therr is for everyone in a community, which means the app and the website need to work for people with disabilities. This statement describes where we are, what we are doing, and how to reach us if something does not work for you.

Our target

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA across www.therr.app, www.therr.com, and the Therr mobile apps.

Where we are today

Partially conformant. Most of the site meets the standard, and some parts do not yet. Measures already in place include:

  • semantic HTML structure and landmark regions;
  • alternative text on meaningful images;
  • ARIA labels on interactive controls;
  • keyboard operability for navigation and forms;
  • a light and dark color scheme with attention to contrast ratios;
  • respect for the operating system's reduced-motion preference;
  • text that reflows and remains readable when zoomed or when the device font size is increased.

Known limitations we are working on:

  • The interactive map is inherently visual. Screen reader users can reach the same content through the list and feed views, but the map itself is not fully equivalent. Improving this is on our roadmap.
  • Some older blog posts contain images whose alternative text is thin or missing. We are working through the archive.
  • Some third-party embedded content, such as video players, is outside our control and may not meet the standard.

Accessibility of user content

Much of what you see on Therr is posted by other people, and we cannot guarantee its accessibility. We encourage everyone to add descriptive text to the photos and videos they post, and we are building tooling to make that easier.

Tell us about a barrier

If you encounter something you cannot use, or you need information from Therr in an alternative format, please contact us. We treat accessibility reports as priority issues.

  • Email: info@therr.com — please put "Accessibility" in the subject line
  • Mail: Therr, Inc., Attn: Accessibility, 8 The Green STE B, Dover, DE, 19901, United States

It helps if you can tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology and browser or device you were using. We aim to acknowledge within 3 business days and to give you a substantive response, including a fix or a timeline, within 10 business days.

Assessment and review

We evaluate accessibility through a combination of automated testing during development, manual keyboard and screen reader testing, and feedback from users. We review this statement at least annually and whenever we make a significant change to the site or app.
